Your DHS robotics team went to Tallahassee over the break to compete in the FRC Tallahassee regionals. It was a very rewarding experience for the entire team. After having to deal with the pandemic and the consequences of no competition for 2 years, former experienced team members leaving after graduation, and various other personal hurdles, the team still made it happen this year. One of the many highlights of this year would be Jack Niedermayer, who went from knowing nothing about programming a robot to having our machine up and running in roughly 8 weeks!
A special thanks to Mr. Hartey and Mrs. Slocum for helping to make the trip a fun success.
