From The Internet…How much were we the United States involved in the testing of Coronavirus? The answer is we were up to our necks in the research with U.S. Tax payers money being spent. Hundreds of thousands of U.S. tax dollars were funneled into the Wuhan Lab in China. The national Institute of Allergy and Infectious Deceases led by Anthony Fauci have given nine grants to EcoHealth Alliance to research coronavirus emergence in bats in China.

It turn out that the Wuhan Lab was not sending the reports that they were suppose to. It still has not been determined if the virus was released or accidentally leaked out on someones clothes or what ever. Continue reading

Florida Turnpike Extension

The Florida State Turnpike Authority was authorized by the Florida Legislature and signed into law by Gov. Dan McCarty as the Turnpike Authority Act on June 11, 1953. The Authority was reorganized and incorporated into the newly formed Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) in July 1969.

In 1953, Costar led a lobbying group that resulted in the state legislature creating the “Florida Turnpike Act”, which Governor Dan McCarty signed into law on July 11, 1953.

A History of Providing Safe and Convenient Transportation. Construction on Florida’s Turnpike began in the mid-1950s, and the first 110-mile stretch was completed in 1957.

As I understand the turnpike extends 264.666 miles. When the Turnpike lobbying was going Florida Residents were promised all kinds of things it would only be a toll road to pay for the construction of and so ands so forth. Some of the problems did not come up till a little later. Continue reading

August 6, 1938—August 27, 2022

Ron Corbett passed away in his home in Ocala, Florida, surrounded with the love of his brother Ken and his wife of 50 years Sydney. He fought the good fight, he finished the race, he kept the faith—2 Timothy 4:7-8 sums up Dr. Ron’s life. God, Country, Family were the three priorities in his life.

An enthusiastic entrepreneur, Ron had several businesses over the years. In Panama, he had American Supply for 20+ years, offering an unusual combination of restaurant,  billiard, wedding, and cake decorating supplies. The motto was Si Hay—Yes, we have it. When we “retired” to the United States in 1999, he opened Yes Solutions, an ink toner/cartridge and printing business.

His motto for life was “Yes, it can be done.” He loved a challenge and loved helping others learn how to meet their challenges. He volunteered with SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives) for many years in Ocala, sharing his business acumen and expertise with those who were opening their own new businesses or who needed guidance to help their businesses prosper.
