OCALA, Fla. (Oct. 13, 2017) – The City of Ocala and Feel Downtown LIVE will host the annual Harvest Fest Music and Food Truck Festival Saturday, Nov. 11 from 1 to 10 p.m. at Tuscawilla Park located at 500 NE Sanchez Ave.

This year’s Harvest Fest event will feature two stages of live blues, rock and country music with Aaron Tippin and Georgia Satellites headlining the evening’s festivities. Other national, regional and local artists scheduled to perform include Hollis Brown, Lawrence, Savants of Soul, Jamie Davis, Bailey Callahan, Bob Green and the Whiskey Conspiracy, and the Doug Adams Band.

“This special Veteran’s Day edition of the City’s annual Harvest Fest event will express our appreciation for veterans and those currently serving,” said Amy Casaletto, Marketing and Promotions Manager, City of Ocala Recreation and Parks Department. “Aaron Tippin is best known for his debut single, “You’ve Got to Stand for Something,” which became a popular anthem for American soldiers fighting in the Gulf War. We feel the accompanying lineup of blues, soul, rock and country is a great way to showcase Ocala’s patriotic spirit.”

In addition to live music and entertainment, this event will also feature food trucks, fine arts and crafts vendors, sales and non-profit vendors, as well as band merchandise.

Admission is free with the donation of a non-perishable food item. All donations collected will benefit Project Hope and will be distributed to families within the Ocala community for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday.

VIP tickets are available for $20 and include premium, up-close access to the stage during performances by Georgia Satellites and Aaron Tippin, one free adult beverage, access to VIP restrooms and a commemorative Harvest Fest T-shirt. VIP tickets are available now and can be purchased at www.feeldowntownlive.com.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets. Coolers will not be permitted inside the event area.

This year’s event is presented by Insight Credit Union. The City of Ocala and Feel Downtown LIVE would also like to thank the following community sponsors for their participation in this year’s event: All the Hits Q92 / US 102.3 The Crossroads, Tri-Eagle Sales and Legacy Team Sales.
