Join us for the 25th anniversary 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at 10:30 am. Venue is Highland Memorial Park, 1515 NE 3rd Street, Ocala 34470. The public is encouraged to arrive by 9:30 am to witness hundreds of motorcycles majestically escorting Old Glory into the Park.
This annual ceremony is purposely placed on the weekend prior to September 11 to maximize community awareness and attendance. The month of September is steeped in military history, ranging from the bloodiest single day in U. S. history (Civil War/Antietam 9/17/1862) to the beginning of WWII (Germany invades Poland 9/1/1939). 6 years and 1 day later, Japan formally and unconditionally surrendered to Allied Forces aboard the USS Missouri (9/2/1945).
The most glaring single day event in our modern history took place right here on our home turf and it murdered 2,977 Americans. Come join us on Saturday, September 5 to remember and honor. Bring the family.
