Dunnellon Florida: Saying a child has the right to school choice is BS. It seems  Dunnellon Elementary has denied a kindergarten student from attending next year for being tardy four times. The child tested two grade levels above his current school level. Informing him he can’t come back was the choice of the Elementary school principal. He can’t go to Dunnellon Elementary next year, he must go to Romeo by choice of the school system. The school system has drawn an imaginary line and if you live on the other side of that line, you come from another world. You have to go to the school THEY CHOOSE!! This student lives 80 acres over the line on a small farm that has been in the family 53 years.  This is a form of traumatizing children. I tried many times to talk to someone and they keep closing me out, telling me it’s up to the principal of the school, I thought it was up to the state / Governor / right of choice law.
