Headlining Act: Madwoman
MADWOMAN is a six-piece indie-psych pop band born from the swamps of Gainesville, Florida. The band blends live instrumentation with electronic elements, creating a genre-defying sound that is both thunder and lightning. Known for their energetic yet intimate live shows, they’ve performed at major festivals like Hulaween, Gasparilla Music Festival, and Okeechobee. With a commitment to pushing musical boundaries and remaining authentic, MADWOMAN is quickly becoming a standout in Florida’s vibrant music scene.
Opening Act: Surface Dwellers
Surface Dwellers is the culmination of over 10 years of friendship and music based right here in Ocala. Blake (Vocals/Ukulele), David (Drums), Daniel (Guitar/Vocals), & Jenna (Bass) have explored the music world together as teenagers playing in various projects over the years, and in 2021 the 4 of them came together to form Surface Dwellers, the first project that involved all 4 of them at once. A very collaborative project, Blake’s song writing brings more elements of pop and indie, while Daniel’s song writing brings more elements of punk and grunge, when those get tied together with David & Jenna’s experience it creates a new type of indie music influenced by living in the horse capital of the world with songs to make you dance, sing, and call your mom and tell her you love her. Their past experience playing together makes their stage presence and charisma as a band both inspiring and fun to watch. Having released 2 EP’s in the time since they formed, they plan on adding to their catalog in 2025 and have some exciting new songs to share at the Sunset Song Series
