The National Guard turns 388 years old today—that’s over three centuries of unyielding service and commitment to freedom. Thank you to our men and women who are serving, and have served, in the National Guard. Your service is critical to our national defense!
This week in Congress, I voted in favor of approving the National Defense Authorization Act for FY25! This bill will continue to fund our military and support our interests, both at home and abroad. I know under the diligent leadership of President Trump our military will prosper and effectively handle international affairs on the world stage.
Next week is the last week the House is in session before the holidays. We still have so much work to do and look forward to keeping you updated.
