(NAPSI)—Shopping for the holidays is more expensive than ever. With Americans carrying more debt than ever before, many are expected to spend $18.5 billion using third-party buy now, pay later (BNPL) services for holiday purchases according to data firm Adobe Analytics.

Today’s shoppers want and need meaningful ways to save money without having to completely sit out the holiday season or being able to participate in the merriment of gift giving.

To help, here are six tips for saving on essentials that can let you put your hard-earned money toward thoughtful holiday gifts for friends and family:

Tip 1: Make a list and check it three times—Take the time before you start surfing the Internet or leave the house to jot down your gift ideas and keep an eye out for Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales, which can help spread out the shopping and hit to your bank account.  Continue reading

(NAPSI)—Behind every sip of Anheuser-Busch’s industry-leading beers is a farmer who worked hard to grow the high-quality rice, barley, corn, or hops inside that beer. This National Farmer’s Day, Anheuser-Busch is raising a toast to the more than 700 farmers across the country who make our beers possible.

For more than 165 years, Anheuser-Busch has been proudly connected with and committed to American farmers, many of whom it has worked with for generations. As the nation’s leading brewer and a major American manufacturer, Anheuser-Busch is a significant purchaser of U.S. agricultural products, spending more than $700 million annually to source nearly all their ingredients from farmers across the United States. This includes 100% of the rice and corn and 99% of the barley in their iconic American beers.  Continue reading

Trump calls Kamala Harris comrade Harris. He probably should not call people names but she cackles a lot, Cackling Harris. On the farm when you walk by the hen house and you hear a hen cackling you know she is about to lay an egg. Putin says she has an infectious laugh. As the left is trying to keep her from talking or cackling.Kamala has layed many political eggs, It is to bad she is not laying the kind of egg that we can feed the hungry, becuse they are on the increase BIG TIME! Enough with the humor. We are engulfed in a battle far worse than a war.

China is a Communist country, the far left is letting China take over in the name of Socialism,THEY ARE COMMUNIST! I thought it was in error, and was just a few of our government. China without a doubt is behind it. They have poisoned our country with phentenal and killed thousands of people with COVID virus and they sit silently by with a smurk. The worst thing about the people dieing from the virus, was their loved ones could not be by their side. Continue reading

Florida Commissioner of Agriculture Wilton Simpson announced the preservation of Florida farmland through the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services’ Rural and Family Lands Protection Program. More than 386 acres of working agricultural land in Heart Bar Ranch in Osceola County is being preserved through a rural land protection easement for $2,600,000.

“Preserving an additional 386 acres of working farmland located within Heart Bar Ranch – a family farm that we worked with earlier this year to preserve over 3,000 acres of farmland – is yet another indicator that the Rural and Family Lands Protection Program is not only successful in its mission, but that generational farmers are eager now more than ever to participate in the program to help preserve important land in Florida,” said Commissioner Wilton Simpson. “These rural land protection easements strengthen our food security though the protection of prime agricultural land, keep the protected property on the local tax rolls, and require every property owner to maintain the land and its natural resources according to state standards.”

The Rural and Family Lands Protection Program purchases the development rights to the agricultural properties through voluntary rural land protection easements, which prevent the future development of the land and allow agriculture operations to continue to contribute to Florida’s economy and the production of food, timber, and other resources vital to the prosperity of Florida.

Well my wife and I just celebrated 62nd years. I don’t deserve any of the credit. I’m the only guy I know that prayed for amnesty. Ha! Just kidding. We eloped, got in my 57 Chevy and ran to North Carolina. Got a phisical exam at an old building where a very old dOct er was, he looked at my ear checked my girlfriends (wife) heart three times, I wonder about him. Receive the paper work and went to the preacheers house. By the way we found out about the dOct or while asking a waitress at a diner. My wifes Father and Mother would not except us it would be years later I saw them and talked to them and the rest was history. He backed me up on several scarey ocasions. He died in my arms at age 90.

I am very sad that State Senater Dennis Baxley is retiring from office. You can see his good bye message in this paper. He has been a special friend to me for many years. The good news is he will be home in Ocala where he has business interest and his family. We all love and respect him! Dennis let’s do some projects together?
