Dear Friends,

My words today will be shorter than usual, but no less meaningful than in previous months. Firstly, thank you for your continued engagement and devotion to our great nation and the principles on which it was founded. Faith, family, freedom, opportunity and life itself are under attack each day from socialist radicals who want to see individual liberty and responsibility exterminated. We must continue to fight for our God-given rights for the sake of our children and grandchildren. Continue reading

Did you know that you owe about $775,000 to China?

That’s your share of the USA National Debt!

Since the end of the Clinton Presidency, the U.S. government has spent a LOT more than they collected from the tax-payers.

The Federal Government owes Medicare, Social Security, Government Pensions and retiree health care liabilities and much more.

How much? Some sources say about $118 Trillion. Continue reading

Politics happened to America!

Many years ago before we had so many governmental rules by political parties, there were laws; we were the most prosperous country in the world. We had no debt, we did not have a large cumbersome payroll for Congress, Senate and all of the government employees and their retirement programs.

If you add what we are or were paying other countries for lord knows whatever and the tariffs we were paying other countries losing on every deal – billions.

We start borrowing money we don’t have to prop up the government, their extravagant ways and to keep paying other countries that hate us! Every year we budget more money than the last year. Obviously we expanded government at a greater speed and there really was no record of where some of the money went, I’m talking billions. There have been unconfirmed reports of shady deals of moving money in or out of campaign funds, paying countries for things the tax payers did not know about. Selling uranium? Paying Iran with pallets of cash, just to mention a few. Here recently some of government overseers are looking at where the money went. Continue reading

Tony says be prepared for Hurricane Season. They are forecasting 14 named storms and another 6 becoming hurricanes.

Outages will happen with storms and hurricanes. Their goal is to keep the power on.

During a storm or hurricane when the winds get up to 30 miles per hour they pull their guys in. Once the winds are safe again they start assessing the damage, and do the repair work in priority, like hospital first, homes keeping the elderly and so on and so on! Continue reading

WASHINGTON, Aug. 05, 2019 — Summer is coming to an end and families across the country are trading in beach balls and roller blades for backpacks and notebooks. But back-to-school time is also followed by cold and flu season. Having the whole family follow some simple healthy behaviors can help them avoid all kinds of illnesses this time of year, including a topic we get lots of questions about: foodborne illness. Proper handwashing is the best thing you can do to stop the spread of germs and avoid getting your little ones sick.

“USDA research in collaboration with RTI International and NC State University has found that consumers are failing to properly wash their hands 97 percent of the time.” said Dr. Mindy Brashears, Deputy Under Secretary Food Safety. “Washing hands is one of the most effective ways to prevent illness, including foodborne illness.”

Be sure that everyone follows these steps:  Continue reading

OCALA, Fla. (Aug. 12, 2019) – The City of Ocala announces the completion of three public art projects.  The projects were completed during summer 2019 and include the restoration of the Ocala Black History Mural, Bridging the Divide in Tuscawilla Park and Retro Reel at the Marion Theatre.

On Aug. 2, in conjunction with the closing of the 2019 Ocala Levitt AMP Music Series, the City and the College of Central Florida (CF) celebrated the completion of the restoration of the Ocala Black History Mural.  Originally completed in 2005, and lead by then CF Brick City Center for the Arts staff Michele Faulconer and Hampton Center Director (current Vice president of Institutional Effectiveness and College Relations) Dr. Jillian Ramsammy, the mural provides a continual timeline of black historical events in Marion County and Ocala.  Individual panels depict themes of religion, politics, agriculture, banking, education, medicine and social activities.  It was designed by youth during a summer art camp held at the CF’s Hampton Center in 2004.  This year’s restoration includes a new panel that acknowledges the progress made in the community since the completion of the original mural and the accomplishments of distinguished members Mary Sue Rich, Ruth Reed and Carolyn Adams.
