OCALA, Fla. (Oct. 20, 2017) – The City of Ocala Recreation and Parks Department will host the second annual Spooktacular Fort and Haunted Trail event Saturday, Oct. 28 from 5 to 10 p.m. at the Fort King National Historic Landmark located at 3925 E Fort King St. Test your wits through this spooky trail. The darker it gets, the scarier it becomes!

As part of Recreation and Parks’ “After Dark in the Park” movie series, “Beetlejuice” will be shown on the lawn beginning at 7:30 p.m. Popcorn, drinks and other refreshments will be available for purchase. Those planning to attend are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets.

Guests are encouraged to park at the Duke Energy power line field located between NE 43rd Avenue and NE 44th Avenue on the north side of E Fort King Street, approximately a quarter-mile east of the Fort. A shuttle will be running continuously throughout the event for pick-ups and drop-offs. The only parking that will be available at the Fort will be for handicapped or disabled guests only.
