OCALA, Fla. (March 1, 2018) – The City of Ocala will host the Tuscawilla Sculpture Stroll Celebration Saturday, March 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Tuscawilla Art Park located at 223 NE Fifth St.

This free event will include live entertainment, food vendors, family-friendly art activities, a sculpture scavenger hunt and more.

A ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ puppet show will take place at the Art Park stage from 10:15 to 10:50 a.m. Marionettes, big and small, perform together on stage in this traditional Celtic music puppet play by Bits ‘N Pieces.

Live music will be provided by Audrey Spillman from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Art Park stage. According to her website, Audrey has an ageless voice, full of understated emotion, with phrasing that imbues every word she sings with a quiet intensity and subtle passion. Her unique brand of smooth, folk-permeated pop recalls aspects of her diverse heroes Joni Mitchell, Nina Simone, Amy Winehouse and others as she stakes out her own musical space.

Voting for the People’s Choice Award will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. During this time, event attendees can cast their votes for their favorite sculpture at Tuscawilla Park. The sculpture award winners will be announced at 1:30 p.m. Awards will be announced for Best in Show, Second Place, Honorable Mention and People’s Choice.
